Graduation Ceremony

The IMS Graduation Ceremony is the moment where four semesters of hard work, international experiences and personal growth come together in one celebration. It is not just a formality, it is a genuine send-off for the next chapter.

IMS Graduation 2026: Celebrating the Class That Went the Distance

On a warm evening in summer 2026, the latest cohort of IMS graduates gathered one final time as students. Surrounded by family, friends and the faculty who had accompanied them through two years of lectures, case studies, semesters abroad and late-night thesis writing sessions, they received their Master of Arts certificates and officially joined the ranks of IMS alumni

The Ceremony

The ceremony brought together graduating students, their families and the IMS faculty for an afternoon of recognition and celebration. Each graduate was called to the stage to receive their Master of Arts certificate, with the room filled with applause, proud faces and the kind of energy that only comes from a moment that has been worked towards for a long time. For many, it was the first time the full cohort had been in the same room since the semester abroad had taken them to different corners of the world.

Speeches and Reflections

Faculty members took to the podium to reflect on the journey of the graduating class, acknowledging the challenges they had navigated and the growth they had demonstrated. A student speaker, chosen by the cohort, shared memories that drew laughter and a few emotional moments in equal measure. The speeches captured something important: that the IMS experience is about far more than the modules on a transcript.

Celebrating Together

After the official ceremony, graduates, families and faculty came together for a reception. Stories were shared, photos were taken and the conversations that tend to happen when a chapter closes and a new one begins filled the room. For many graduates, it was also the moment they truly felt part of the wider IMS alumni community.

What Comes Next

The class of 2026 leaves FH Münster with a state-accredited Master of Arts, a semester of international experience, a network that spans multiple continents and the skills to navigate the demands of global marketing and sales. Wherever their careers take them, they carry the IMS programme with them. We wish the class of 2026 all the best for the exciting journey ahead. Congratulations to every single one of you.
